Hello, I’m Antoinette!

I embrace the everyday with gratefulness and awe, and tell visual stories about our miraculous mundane.

My young family and I live in Brisbane, where I work from my home art studio. I am an experienced freelance photographer and fine artist. I have a formal education in fine arts and graphic design, majoring in photography.

Working with various mediums, I strive to create a sense of drama in my work, to stir emotion within the viewer. I like to portray the mundane in a romanticised way, drawing inspiration from nineteenth-century art. I often use specific subject matter to symbolise personal experiences and refer to psychological concepts.
